This entire page is POV and almost entirely inaccurate, full of unfounded claims and accusations, particularly the phrase "Robbed the town". In fact, not a single penny of Town funds were lost, and in fact the so called "scam", albeit illegal, operated at a surplus for the town. Maltese herself did not profit a penny.
