I came on this talk page to check this as well. The mere fact that he was paroled after six years when the Florida minimum for life sentences is customarily ten is shocking enough. I have found court documents showing that David Ervin Beagles' was convicted, but then his conviction was found unsafe and remanded for a retrial. Presumably he was found not guilty, as he was later registered as a sex offender in Florida and in Alabama with only the original rape mentioned, but I can't find any documents to confirm this. Can anybody find anything else? There should also be a more primary source for the first conviction than Danielle McGuire's book Qyburnstein (talk) 10:40, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
