Didn't a short segment of this cartoon show up in the Feb. 21, 1976 edition of the "Weekend Update" segment of Saturday Night Live (passed off as an "artist's rendering" for coverage of the week's developments in the Patty Hearst trial)? Given what the plot of this 'toon is about, and that one scene takes place in a courtroom in front of a jury, it would seem that it was. I'd like to know one way or the other; if so, would it be possible to add it as a "trivia" item. –Wbwn 20:04, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you mention it, I do have a vague memory of the SNL you're talking about. Unfortunately, I don't remember enough to confirm that it was the cartoon in question. I'm not sure how one would go about confirming it.Konczewski 14:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have confirmed that clip was indeed from this cartoon. As of the time I write this, YouTube had the colorized version available for viewing. That's how I was able to put 2 and 2 together. —Wbwn 21:58, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
