[edit]I found Better than chocolate to be one of the best movies I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I really related to the themes in it, the hatred of the skinheads and the mother, who is concerned but also controlling...she grows the most in the entire film. one thing that I realised the other night was that Kim has no last name, in fact I dont think any of them have last names. Which, I guess is no big deal but I think the characters would be a little more rounded if they had last names. also, I think the only problem I have with the film is that it felt like it went so fast. I dont know whether its just the time span that I'm missing e.g. In the van when Kim and Maggie get towed...I mean they must be there for a while to get towed. You actually see someone on their way to work, lock their bike to the van which suggests a long stay. so, Thats the ranty part of this section over with, now for the parts I found to be absoloutely brilliant...
Okay, where do I start?! The art work in this film is amazing...hats off to whoever did it, I swear, to get that van to look like that and those pictures to look the way they did they must have put some hard slog in. the portrit of Maggie in chalks is amazing, and the van is even better, not to mention the stuff set out when she's drawing tony. The music...wow! the only thing I don't like about the music is the fact that half the songs I like on the soundtrack are nowhere to be found...so If anyone can lead me to the Ani DiFranco track thats playing when maggie is collecting dildos up I would appreciate it.... thats the end of my discussion for now.
Fair use rationale for Image:Better than chocolate poster.jpg
[edit]Image:Better than chocolate poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Peter Outerbridge as Judy
[edit]His portrayal of Judy is thought by myself and my friends to be one of the very best portrayals of a transwoman in all of filmdom. ShannonLikeHoney (talk) 16:58, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
