Making this article more encyclopedic
[edit]At the moment this article reads a bit like a cross between a school newsletter and a recruitment brochure - looking at the history, attempts have been made to get it more encyclopedic, but unreferenced and/or un-notable material keeps creeping back ;) A (referenced) section on the history of the school would be a nice addition...
For a useful model, take a look at the Plano Senior High School featured article. If necessary, copy/paste and adapt the sections (I've used that trick myself many times!). For references, anything verifiable written by someone not associated with the school would do - local newspapers are a good resource. Check WP:NOTE for guidelines on what is/is not considered worthy for inclusion in an encyclopedia (although this is an oft-disputed area: Wikipedia:Notability/Historical/Arguments).
Hope this helps ;) EyeSereneTALK 22:35, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed, the article keeps turning into a place for the students to go and write about their favorite club. I dont really think the "performing arts center" even warrants a section, because its nothing more then an auditorium, they only rennovated it, and its not like anything other than school functions takes place there.

- Wholesale deletion isn't particularly useful, so I've reverted your edit. At least some of the material may be citable and therefore keepable. I'll try to go through and sort out what's what. --DachannienTalkContrib 21:49, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Auditorium 5.jpg
[edit]Image:Auditorium 5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
