Commercial Astronaut status-factual accuracy?

[edit]

It may not be accurate to describe Beth as a commercial astronaut, as she was merely a passenger on the craft. It's my understanding (last I heard) that the FAA wings are restricted to pilots of craft only, and not to any "space tourists", even test-subjects, like the article's subject. I make this comment as a personal note (and note to others) to look more closely at this soon. MinnesotanUser (talk) 04:12, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As a note to self (and to any other interested parties), Moses along with the two pilots received the Commercial Astronaut distinction several months ago via multiple reputable sources, so my suggested challenge above is long since moot. This "aftermath" stuff suggests possible expansion of the flight's main article. MinnesotanUser (talk) 00:07, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Moses

[edit]

I believe it IS relevant to say that she is Mike Moses' wife. I believe this has been added a couple times now, and undone each time. Perhaps it doesn't need to be highlighted in a whole "Personal Life" section, but it's interesting information and I don't think appropriate for Wikipedia to suppress it. Just let it be added as a sentence somewhere? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.215.62.245 (talk) 04:06, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Age / age at graduation

[edit]

The page currently shows her as being born 30 May 1980, and graduating B.S. in 1992 and M.S. in 1994 (aged ca 12 and 14). I couldn't see any of these dates in the references. Is one of them wrong? If it's correct, then it would probably be worth commenting explicitly on this. --Mgp28 (talk) 13:37, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Her graduation dates are correct and are available at https://engineering.purdue.edu/AAE/people/alumni/distinguished/oae/2018/Beth-Moses -- still not seen date of birth. --Mgp28 (talk) 13:44, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Her date of birth is now changed to 1969, which seems much more plausible. --Mgp28 (talk) 09:22, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
