not so much encyclopedic

um, the whole thing with trash-talking my chemical romance and like, the "true nature behind their falling out" strkies me as gossipy snd unencyclopedic. anyone want to fix it? i do not feel like i could as i don't know a lot about the incident, but i'm sure one fo you guys could do it. <3

Mormon?

I've removed the "Latter-day Saint singers" category until someone can provide citation. Does McCracken currently self-identify as Mormon? Being from a Momron family is not enough. -Porlob 18:41, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

I thought that when he was a teenager, he ran away from home wanting to get away from the Mormon religious beliefs. Didn't he say somewhere (sorry I can't give the actual location of the information because I'm not absolutely positive) that he didn't like some of the things you had to follow to be a Mormon? In this case, I don't think he wants to be classified as Mormon. (But I'm not 100% sure.) MusicGirl21 23:30, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Even if you are not currently a practicing Mormon, you are still Mormon. The only way you can no longer be Mormon is if you are excommunicated. So unless Bert was excommunicated he's still a LDS Singer. Even if the person chooses to say he/she is no longer Mormon, they are still Mormon. Bunny 02:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Bunny. Unsourced Comment?

The closing line, "Fame has gotten to his head, the best word to describe Bert would be "asshole"." is un-sourced. While this may be true, maybe it should get backed up?

I thought Bert said that he had a problem with drinking.

In many interveiws Bert has said that he does have problems with drinking. In a SPIN magazine they asked him if he would stop drinking because of the acute pancreas diease and he said that no he probably wouldn't that when someone told him to stop doing something it made him want to do it more.

He's never had a drinking problem, only a drug problem. He was a big druggie before the "In Love and Death" CD came out. He's still got his problems but he's still me hero :)

no, he doesnt say "Bert fuck my ass" he just says "Fuck my ass" with a scream before it. But even that doesnt necessarily make him bi. We know that he isnt gay however, since his ex-girlfriend was pregnant (before she died), plus he even mentioned about having sex with his current girlfriend in a Kerrang interview. I rest my case. Ok here's how it really goes. Bert McCracken did indeed run-away from home to escape from his family and religion. He isn't mormon any longer, it was his choice to stop being mormon. And trust me I know what it's like to be forced into religion, I had christianity shoved down my throat, now im a hardcore athiest. Anyways he had a girlfriend a couple years ago who overdosed and died. Then he got a fiance whom died while attempting to give birth to mini bert (bert's kid). So now he's lonely and NOT dating anyone. I am a hardcore THE USED fan and I wont stand for all these lies.

No, it was the pregnant EX-girlfriend that overdosed on Independence Day 2004. He has since acquired a fiancee in Australia who did NOT overdose. Ask any fan that's seen them together. Cleaned up page, broke most of the page into a "Biography" section which includes Career and Personal Life information. Feud with My Chemical Romance vocalist Gerard Way is seperate from main biographical information. Tagged most sections with {unsourced} - Career section needs it to, but with the infobox in place the tag messes up the display of information on the page (adds a huge empty block of space). --Ozgod 14:18, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Help
