The station opened in 1876, although it did not receive the name Berkeley Station until 1878. The last depot at this station was demolished in 1938. A ticket office in a commercial building replaced the depot until 1941. If someone can find some SP document to show that the ticket office was referred to as "Berkeley Station", then the closing date should be changed to 1941. Shattuck Square and Berkeley Square

Shattuck Square and Berkeley Square are addresses on the two blocks that were "Berkeley Station", both roads are named Shattuck Avenue. Shattuck Square to Berkeley Square ? ~~ Xb2u7Zjzc32 (talk) 03:36, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dashiell Hammett
