Starting first read-through. More soonest. Tim riley talk 13:19, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
This is an interesting and enjoyable article, and has the potential to be brought up to GA standard, but I'm sorry to say that at present the Immediate failure criterion 1 applies: there is one "citation needed" template in place and there are too many other places where the same template could properly be added. There are ten sections with no citations at all. For this reason the article immediately fails the GAN.
I hope the nominator will revise the text and submit for GA after that. With a view to helping the revision, here are some other points that need addressing:
- Lead
- It is a requirement for GA that an article must comply with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, and the single sentence lead we have at the moment is nowhere near compliant.
- Spelling
- You need to decide whether to use English or American spelling: at present we have a mixture: e.g BrEng."favour" and "adviser" and AmEng "favor" and "advisor" are both used.
I hope these pointers are helpful. – Tim riley talk 14:17, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
