Father's name
[edit]The Daily Mirror article cited names his father Oshariguri. As two people have now changed it, then I'd guess it might be wrong, so I've removed the name and just left the sentence reading "His father was concerned..." What we can't do is add a different name, even if we know it's correct, without a reference to a reliable published source to verify the name. Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy is very clear on the need for reliable sourcing. So please don't add a name for Mr Odeje's father without also adding a source to verify it. Year of birth
[edit]1956 has been added. Given that we know of his involvement with Atlantic Sports Development, this would say otherwise. Not sure if this is a useable source but in any case it would throw some doubt on it being 1956.--Egghead06 (talk) 06:11, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
- Think WP:BLPPRIMARY makes it clear we shouldn't use that. I hadn't considered extrapolating an approximate birth year, but if he was 15 in early March 1971, 1955 would be more likely than 1956, because there are more months to choose from. Even if playing under-15 schoolboy football meant he had to be under 15 at the start of the school year. Think I might change it to c. 1955. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:05, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
