World War II service
[edit]There are no reliable sources found as of yet that state Buttenweiser served overseas in the military during the war. It is possible he served as a civilian supporting the military. However, the sources do not establish defining role in World War II as military personnel. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of World War II was removed from the article. Semper Fi!
