50 yard freestyle
[edit]The claim of Michaelson's 50 yard free time is contradictory to verified sources. According to the NCAA record book[1], the record time in the event is "19.84—John Berry, Ouachita Baptist, 3-8-2000." The claimed time in the article is .44 faster than the record. Given that the other times disagree with the records, I'm thinking the time listed here has a serious flaw. However, I can't see what the correct, verified time is. —C.Fred (talk) 04:26, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
The claim of Michaelson's 50 yard freestyle amongst the other yard times is verified. According to both the Metropolitan Conference 2002-2003 Swimming Championships and the Southern Swimming & Diving Website Records are IN FACT accurate. And based on the text, the records are those of the NCAA Division 2 Men's Swimming Championship meet. Michaelson performed this time at his conference championship. The records are inaccurate aswell. Look at the 100 yard fly record then look at page 15 which shows the winners of the 100 fly every year (on the left). Michaelson's time is faster. -24.44.45.85 00:13, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
