Earlier television role

[edit]

I don't feel confident to add this information to the table. Perhaps someone else can? Ben Cross played the title role in The Melancholy Hussar, an adaptation of a Thomas Hardy short story. This was one of an anthology of such stories called "Wessex Tales". It was shown on BBC television in 1973. 195.99.41.236 (talk) 19:46, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I happy to edit the table, and I noticed Cross mentioned in Wessex Tales, but I would prefer a reliable source to back it up. IMDb isn't reliable for example. Commander Keane (talk) 05:01, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
