Bellanca 17-30Bellanca Viking – While the 17-30 designation is technically correct, and seems to meet the civil-aircraft naming standard from what I can see, "Viking" is the WP:COMMONNAME of the aircraft - I had never heard of a "Bellanca 17-30" until just now, but I was very familiar with the "Bellanca Viking" and Super Viking. "Viking" doesnt actually appear on the type certificate which is why the proper/official Bellanca 17-30 name was originally used. That said I dont have a problem with the marketing name being used per common name. MilborneOne (talk) 20:19, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
