Falls short of Featured Article
[edit]This article falls short of Wikipedia's Featured Article criteria. There are zero citations for claims made the lead intro is scant and tells nothing of the group to warm up the reader to the content, and the content is all contained in one section. It is suggested to research all claims and add appropriate citations, expand on the lead, and re-work the body. I intend on making these changes unless someone offers a valid argument as to why these changes should not be made. Furthermore, suggestions to additional changes are welcomed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KatDog22 (talk • contribs) 19:49, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Cultural references section
[edit]Removed cultural references section because it is a list of miscellaneous information and does not contribute to the article's featured article status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cautionage (talk • contribs) 03:03, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- I also attempted to remove the Cultural References Section because it is miscellaneous information that does not belong on the Wikipedia page. In order for this page to properly meet Wikipedia's standards, this information has got to go. What relevant (if any) information there is should be relocated. I am going to attempt removing this section again for the same reasons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Soozbot (talk • contribs) 03:13, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Sentence work
[edit]I'm unhappy with the current last sentence of the first paragraph ("Richard Wolf and Epic Mazur helped create BBD's premiere album, blending rhythm, blues, pop, and rock, and Poison achieve triple Platinum success[7]"). It was a sentence fragment and sounded like a press release, and I fixed those two problems, turning it into the quoted bit above, but now it sounds more obviously redundant with the sentence above which describes New Jack Swing. I'd remove the "rhythm, blues, pop, and rock" bit altogether if I knew what specifically Wolf and Mazur did to help create the album, but I don't so I'm just pointing it out as a problem. I've left it slightly improved, at least. 24.136.38.46 (talk) 12:18, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
