Conservation status

Hello, Why does the IUCN say it is of "least concern" but article says its endangered? I was under the impression this bird was indeed endangered based on federal and state signage i see in southern California. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.7.84.233 (talk) 01:33, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- That refers to the Least Bell's vireo (Vireo bellii pusillus), which is an endangered subspecies of Bell's vireo (Vireo bellii). The species as a whole is not endangered but the subspecies is. The page specifies this. —Spifferella 22:26, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
