"The Student President"
[edit]Out of all the information one can write about an institution like this one, why focus so importantly on the student president? Please read " This", because that is what came to mind as I read it.
I removed this section, if someone wants to rewrite it in a more encyclopaedic manner, then please do so. And remember to include sources of information. Shonty08 (talk) 22:12, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
GNVQ?
[edit]According to this site http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/QualificationsExplained/DG_10039029 GNVQs have finished and shouldn't be currently offered. Anybody know what's replacing them at the college instead? Zagubov (talk) 10:54, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Belfast Metropolitan College
[edit]The expression "Black Man" refers to a bronze statue of the Earl of Belfast which previously stood on the site and had been painted black to preserve it from the weather. It was removed indoors for safe keeping to Belfast City Hall. The statue of Dr Henry Cooke, a leading 19th century Presbyterian, now stands outside the building. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.67.35.141 (talk) 18:03, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
