merge from targeted advertising
targeted advertising is clearly only an (if perhaps the most relevant) application of the principles elaborated here. Given the rather poor maturity state of t.a., I would suggest shortening and integration here. -- Kku 09:50, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

- Support the merge, but in the reverse direction. My reading of the topics is that a merge in the reverse direction is more appropriate on the grounds that Targeted advertising is the broader topic. That is, while it includes Behavioral targeting it also includes targeting based on age, gender or sociodemographic parameters (for example). Klbrain (talk) 22:38, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
