Wrong age for Chris, the dog that played Beethoven
[edit]Chris's age during filming appears to be unverified. IMDB list's him as age 2 during filming but doesn't have a source. The source used in the article doesn't actually list Chris's age, but rather states:
"His humanizer here is Beethoven himself: a big, sloppy, lovable Saint Bernard (played by canine actor Chris, 12 doubles and a score of adorable puppies)"
I believe someone mistook "Chris, 12" to be an indicator of Chris's age.
As further evidence, St' Bernards only live about 8 years.
Wrong pic
[edit]That isn't a puppy! Its an old man. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.41.14.138 (talk) 20:57, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
- There's still a pic of Beethoven the man, not a promotional poster for the movie, this might need to get sorted as I was just directed here Wikiproject films as an example of what a "Start" class article should be. Ryan4314 16:51, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Dog
[edit]The original dog playing Beethoven was only in the first two movies. He is no longer alive but some of the dogs in the later films likely are. His real name was Chris, owned and trained by Karl Lewis Miller who also trained animals for Cujo, K-9, Babe, and many others.
Why here is no section for the dog? In the Article of Mr. Ed, Flipper, Lassie, Tarzan there are sections ans names for the animals, but not for this very successfull movie? its not fair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.66.12.54 (talk) 03:04, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
