Talk:Beeston Hill Y Station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The postcard 'A view of the Y station from the west' pre-dates WW2 and shows a look-out hut, rather than the Y-Station. The hut (in slightly different forms) existed on that spot from (at least) just before WW1 and can be seen on many postcards from then until the late 1930s. It was not on the crest of the hill. The Wikipedia editing process is too complex for this old (70+) brain to handle, so I don't know how to add photos and hence make things clearer.
