Popular culture section
[edit]Looking at this objectively, do these handful of references about beards made from bees have any lasting encyclopedic value? If not, then is there any content that would be better put in it's place? Like something that really shows bee bearding's cultural impact. Because as it stands, I'm comfortable with the content being removed and waiting for more suitable content to come down the road. --NickPenguin(contribs) 01:39, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Stings
[edit]Do these people get stung? If there are 87 pounds of bees on your body, how can you NOT get stung?Valorum27 (talk) 02:06, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- One person reports she gets a few stings, but there was a case where someone was stung 50 times. https://beeinformed.org/2011/08/01/how-to-make-a-bee-beard/ SlowJog (talk) 07:38, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
