IN BRASIL Beaupré - family surname of French origin. One of his earliest ancestors, dating from 1678, when the registered name of the burial of haute dame Marie de Ravenel, wife of Baron of Boppre, le Chevalier Amtoine CHOISEUL of BEAUPRE. In Brazil it is spelled Boppre. The first immigrant Boppre JULIO (1868-1943), Heidelberg, Germany (the Beuapre emigrated from France to Germany in sec. XVIII), who arrived in Santa Catarina, the capital of Nossa Senhora do Desterro (Florianópolis current), WITH 18 years, received his lands of Grao-Para (SC) on June 30, 1887.
