Variety said: "A24 has shared the first look at “Beau Is Afraid,” the upcoming horror from “Midsommar” director Ari Aster." and the synopsis says "synopsis from A24 reads: “A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer-director Ari Aster." Rotten Tomatoes: Comedy/Drama". In what way is this an epic film? You can still use the word epic as an adjective, which is what is being done. Mike Allen 01:29, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
When to post the plot?
[edit]Now that today was the sneak premiere of Beau Is Afraid at select Alamo Drafthouses, would it be appropriate to post the plot now or to wait until the early Alamo release on the 14th or wide release on the 21st? ~~ Trqalobaid (talk) 02:10, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
- Now that its out in select theaters I think it should be fair game Legotwin (talk) 08:48, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
The film received unanimously unfavorable reviews from critics?
[edit]It has 67% on Rotten 212.251.190.10 (talk) 01:38, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
- And Metacritc says "generally favorable reviews". The lead says generally, not unanimously. Mike Allen 01:51, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
