Separate article for the mine
[edit]I notice this edit resulted in the addition of this article to Category:Companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Obviously the town is not on the stock exchange :P Should the mine information be split to a different article? -- Chuq 10:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like it would be a good idea - more than half the article is about the mine. We have articles on significant mines in other areas (of varying quality). --Scott Davis Talk 21:41, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
How is this Beaconsfield pronounced? I'm from near Disraeli's Beaconsfield, and it is pronounced beckons-field, rather than the more obvious beacons-field. Is this the same? Can anyone who can use the phonetics symbols add this to the article? 78.105.66.106 (talk) 22:14, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- It is beacons-field. (Beak-ons-field) Haven't used the phonetic symbols before but will look into it! -- Chuq (talk) 00:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Added, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. Please correct if it is wrong! -- Chuq (talk) 00:45, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
