Redundant: Bazaar appears 22 times in this article, with the alternate spelling bazar appearing 11 times. More information about the architecture and physical structure of bazaars. Who works in a "genuine" bazaar? do you need a permit? what is sold? are there permanent stores or is the bazaar empty at the end of the day? are "taxes" paid to the local government? The political information makes "the bazar" sound like a political party, rather than a place where men gather to do business and work together to influence the government. Yes. This article goes on at great length about the political environment in various areas in which bazaars have existed, and their affect upon that environment; but it does not actually describe what a bazaar is! Arguably, the article fails to be about bazaars at all, and is not a useful reference. I realised, today, that i actually know very little about what a bazaar is. I came here to find out. How does it compare with a Souq?

Is a Bazaar the same thing as a SouqH, but deriving its name from a different language? Or is there a significant difference that sets them apart?MidlandLinda (talk) 11:47, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Change Bazaar Iran picture

Great article! very informative but can someone please replace the current Isfahan bazaar picture with one from Tehran Bazaar?
