"Family of Churches" modified
[edit]Hello, I am new to editing on Wikipedia, but I was challenged to make an edit. I wanted to make sure I made edits on an article I already knew things about. I am from the Sacramento Area and Have attended Bayside Church many times. I primarily have visited the main/original location in Granite Bay.
I knew about Bayside's "family of Churches", but did not recognize most of the locations listed on the article. I did some double checking to make sure everything was up to date. This article lists: Bayside of Woodland, Bayside of Galt, Bayside Church of Citrus Heights, Bayside of South Sacramento (BOSS), Bayside Church of Placerville, Bayside Plumas Lake, Bayside Orange County, and Bayside Life Church in Rancho Cordova.
The only church in this list mentioned on Bayside's website is Bayside Orange County. I did some digging and found that many of these churches were financially supported by Bayside to help with their success, now many of these churches have changed their names and aren't considered a Bayside church. For example, Bayside Citrus Heights is now just called Heights Church. The leader ship at both Heights Church and Bayside explained this name change in an interview video.
An exception to this is Bayside Galt and Bayside of South Sacramento (BOSS Church). These are not listed on Bayside's main website, but still use its name and support.
On Bayside's website, the additional campuses are listed as: Granite Bay, Adventure, Blue Oaks, Folsom, Santa Rosa, Orange County, Davis, and Auburn.
