Need better historical references

I spent basically an hour whipping together the improvements. There are significantly better historical references for the Coates Bluff origin of Bayou Pierre plus the location of Betty Virginia Park as a steamboat landing for Bayou Pierre, and there was a turning basin at the current intersection of the old Red River origin branch that goes through Querbes Golf Course and the branch that turned off to dock at the current location of Betty Virginia Park. I need to round up some good references to all of this because there is a lot of history here that the Wiki page does not currently address. Badtux (talk) 07:07, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
