American Pottery and Ceramics
[edit]Planning on writing a series about American Pottery and Ceramics, and found very few sources about most of the oldest and most well-know American companies, so a series on Wikipedia made perfect sense - Bauer being the first. Regarding Bauer specifically, the original company stopped producing in 1962, and the focus of the series is on the original companies - now referred to as vintage in the world of collecting, rarity etc. - so I added that term to clarify that it is not a promotion for the new company producing new pottery. Edited the article to remove superlatives for more neutral or encyclopedic style. Initially found the 'no article' link in another wikipedia article...started from there.Gr8meta4 (talk) 06:01, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Copyvio, stubbed
[edit]When trying to copy edit, I discovered the whole thing was a copyright violation, taken from http://lagunapottery.com. It needs a complete rewrite from scratch rather than a copy edit, and I don't have the time or inclination for that right now, so I've reduced it to a stub. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:37, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Rewriting
