Where's your source? Kailash29792 (talk) 11:33, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not good enough. We need one like TVLine or Deadline Hollywood. Kailash29792 (talk) 18:15, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine, we can wait for the official show credits to settle this matter.136.49.157.251 (talk) 19:31, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tommy Elliot

[edit]

Will it actually be Gabriel Mann or Warren Christie playing Tommy Elliot? The character is now wearing Bruce Wayne's face, and obviously, no longer looks like Gabriel Mann.136.49.157.251 (talk) 19:41, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a pic: https://d.newsweek.com/en/full/1591010/warren-christie-bruce-wayne-batwoman.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.49.157.251 (talk) 19:43, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We have a dispute over whether Tommy's disguise should be called "Bruce Wayne" or "Bruce Wayne/ Batman". I think it could go either way. Tommy never wore the Batsuit, but I think it's fair to say that he impersonated Batman since he pretended to be Bruce to people like Luke who knew Bruce was Batman.73.238.132.13 (talk) 14:48, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 2x01 title

[edit]

I really don't know why the title of this episode is such a debate. The Futon Critic's information is wrong, wherever it comes from, typo or not. The correct name of this episode, as listed on the CW's own site to watch the episode, is (emphasis mine) "Whatever Happened to Kate Kane?" There's already a source on the page that lists it correctly. Caivu (talk) 19:36, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It states that the title is direct from The CW. TFC has always been a reliable source in the WikiProject Television, and I see no other current source to prove otherwise. -- /Alex/21 19:49, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So a typo holds more weight than what the actual page on the CW's site says? Look it up yourself if don't believe me. The source for the correct title is the first one listed, the Samuel Gelman article. Caivu (talk) 20:21, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Caivu, please share the archived official website link with me since I cannot view a North American website from my country due to content restrictions. That is the only way I can see the episode's title and come to a decision. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:33, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kailash29792: "Batwoman Season 2 Episode Titles Ask, Whatever Happened to Kate Kane?" Caivu (talk) 04:41, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is old news. It seems it was renamed at some point, as noted at FutonCritic. I asked for the CW's official website, but you gave CBR. Or how about we reach a compromise? We list an alternate title like "Green Arrow & The Canaries"/"Livin' in the Future" at Arrow (season 8)? Alex 21, what do you say? Kailash29792 (talk) 05:05, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kailash29792, I misunderstood what you were asking for, sorry. Right now there is no archived page showing the correct title, but when it becomes available I'll post it here. I don't see a need for a compromise because as far as I can tell there was never an episode name change, and the name on Futon Critic is simply a typo, regardless of where it originated. Caivu (talk) 06:02, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kailash29792, here's the link you requested. Caivu (talk) 00:35, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Caivu. Let's wait for what Alex has to say. Hope this is not a violation of WP:PRIMARYSOURCES. Kailash29792 (talk) 03:40, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kate Kane in season 2

[edit]

Hi. Kate Kane made a cameo appearance in the yesterday episode. I believe it should be mentioned. But I couldn't find a name of an actress. It could be Ruby Rose, but I do not think it's possible. Better chances that it's Shelene Yung, and I'm trying to find any source for this, so it could be added to the article. What do you think? IKhitron (talk) 15:53, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Summaries too long?

[edit]

So someone thinks that the episode summaries are too long -- the tag used to be on the second episode but now seems to apply to all of them. I don't think they are -- is this the place to hash out the disagreement? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.238.132.13 (talk) 22:55, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I just checked using a script tool, episode 2–4 summaries of this season are way too long. — YoungForever(talk) 23:13, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I tried cutting down episode 2's description the other day, and it was tricky without drastically changing the meaning of what happened in the episode. Not sure how to rectify that, especially if the same applies to the other episodes. Caivu (talk) 02:51, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I could cut them down a bit (I've started them) but I think cutting a lot would make them a lot less useful. Can you be more specific than "way too long" about what the tool is telling you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.238.132.13 (talk) 20:35, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is a script tool on Wikipedia. Per MOS:TVPLOT, episode summaries should be about 100 to 200 words in length. I think any words clocking at 220+ 216+ words would be way too long based on the script tool. — YoungForever(talk) 20:54, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've cut them down below 220 words each. Would you like to take off the tags? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.238.132.13 (talk) 01:56, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is actually 216+ words. Please see above. — YoungForever(talk) 06:19, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, all are now 200 or fewer. 73.238.132.13 (talk) 03:50, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just checked with the script tool. They are no longer way too long for the episode summaries we have on article now. — YoungForever(talk) 05:15, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What I will do going forward is trim them down to 200, trying to hold on to new contributions that other editors make. Other editors -- please think when you add something whether it is useful enough, given the word limit.73.238.132.13 (talk) 14:50, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’m a new editor

[edit]

Hey everyone, I am new here as an editor on wikipedia. I just added the information I could find for episode 7. Please tell me if I did anything wrong or something :) TimGo10 (talk) 07:43, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @TimGo10, and welcome. As you can see, somebody already reverted your edit. This is because in enwiki the IMDB site is not accepted as reliable source. The episode information can be added after it appears on this site. Good luck. IKhitron (talk) 16:11, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ahhh okay, thank you for the information. I will keep it in mind! TimGo10 (talk) 16:57, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Did Tavaroff shoot Luke?

[edit]

I didn't see who did it, and the summary #34 now says "some Crow". A story on Tor.com claims it's him. Is anyone sure? 73.238.132.13 (talk)

It was definitely Agent Tavaroff who shot Luke. — YoungForever(talk) 20:58, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
