Possible copyvio
[edit]It appears that these 11 edits by Softwarestatistik (talk · contribs) on 16 February may have been copied in part from https://al-pakri.blogspot.com/2019/08/wisata-ke-surabaya-petik-apel-di-kota.html (Earwig 40%). There were no archive copies of the blog at archive.org before today; at archive.is there is this snapshot from 2019, and wikiwix has the same thing but at that time the page was almost entirely in Indonesian. I'm unable to determine the direction of copy. Mathglot (talk) 20:19, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Mathglot, thank you for pinging me on Softwarestatistik's talk page about this matter. From what I can tell, the edit consisted of an unattributed machine translation of the "Tourism" section from the corresponding article at the Indonesian Wikipedia. Running that article through Google Translate gives me an exact match for the text they added. The Blogspot that you linked above is a Wikipedia mirror and the 40% overlap was already present before their edits. Since their edits have already been removed from the article, I don't think any further action is needed here. DanCherek (talk) 20:33, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for investigating this further. Mathglot (talk) 21:10, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
