[edit]Battlefield Cross seems to be the more common term. There are many online newspaper articles that refer to this. --SueHay 22:33, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Advised via Harry Mitchell of retitle 0130 UTC+1 26 May 13. I don't know who came up with "fallen soldier battle cross" but it might have been someone playing too much CoD. The soldier may exist here and there who uses that term (and battle cross, for that matter), but I've only ever heard battlefield cross. Granted, I'm just one person, but Google is loud on the issue - 27 mil hits for battlefield cross, 131k for FSBC, and 93k for battle cross. I strongly suspect based on my experience, and interaction with personnel of all ranks, that battlefield cross is the most widely-used term. 80.80.45.83 (talk) 23:35, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
