[edit]Are you sure this is the SNES game Battlecars? This sounds nothing at all like it, but it is linked from the list of SNES games. Battlecars (SNES) 1993 by Namco happens to be one of my all-time favorite games, and I would be happy to start the article on the SNES game if we can some how seperate them. This article seems different. Stovetopcookies 04:36, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Battlecars - The Board Game
[edit]I think there is some confusion about this game. There are two versions of Battlecars. The first to have been created was the board game, also expanded by the Battlebike boardgame. Players select car templates from a choice of six, each made up of varying elements of armour, weapons and driving tools.
A city plan was then laid out on a hexangonally sectored board using houses, grass and trees. Players then moved around the city plan with the intention of destroying their competitors by either shooting or ramming them whilst trying to avoid a similar fate being delivered on to them.
It seems a compter version of teh game was then released later however I have never played it. The board game kept me entertained for hours on end and I recently bought a second hand version of it.
