the things Garcilazo didn't said
[edit]although there are many quotes to garcilazos books, some of the content has been tergiversed, "At the end of the third day of battle the Inca saw that they had lost more than half their number in dead, and the living were almost all wounded" (both armies were in the same condition) "although the Purumaucas were put in their formations, the Inca did not leave their camp" "50,000 incas in battle"(the purumaucas stay in their fortify camp too) "Decisive victory for the Purumaucas" (?) Too much emphasis on Osvaldo Silva
[edit]Osvaldo Silva is literally the only historian who suggest inca activities south of bio bio river, and is very outdated (1983), actual consensus is that inca never crosed bio bio river and was mapuche warfare who stoped the inca invasion
