Casualties
[edit]The Japanese casualties probably are much more than 10,000. The 106th division started with 16,000 strong and had only a little over 1000 escaped in the end. The 101st division was brought to aid the 106th but failed and suffered huge casualties (even its commander General伊东政喜 was wounded). Then the 27th Division was added to help but failed again and suffered significant losses too. I would place the Japanese Casualties at above 20,000. Here is a good article about this battle. Dead source
[edit]The YouTube link is down do to copyright claim. Also I find it odd this would the the sole reference for an entire article. Perhaps a Chinese-only documentary would be a bit biased? I'd expect that from a film of this era. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.162.158.234 (talk) 09:05, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
