Bias
[edit]This article is written entirely from the a Spanish point of view. Spaniards are described as having “valor” and “bravery,” while Mapuches use “deception” and torture. The Spanish invaders are described as “conquerors” while Mapuches (referred to in article as “Indians”) are described as “rebels,” which implies that Spaniards were the governing force rather than invaders. Mapuche successes are attributed entirely to their copying of Spanish tactics. A variety of conflicting Spanish sources are used to imply that mapuches are “vengeful” torturers. No effort is made to use sources from a Mapuche perspective. 24.196.171.154 (talk) 00:52, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
