[edit]As I said in the edit summary, it still needs inline citations for some of the paragraphs and major points. I will try to find some. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 01:57, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Can you fact tag some of it so it's easier to look for the sources?radek (talk) 02:51, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Done [1]. Also, I could not find any sources online, so only those with print sources will probably be able to cite the facts. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 23:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks (that's a quite a number of them though there, isn't it?). There's some online Polish and maybe French language sources but probably not much in English. If you could help out some, it'd be much appreciated.radek (talk) 04:58, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Good job on the citing of the article. I tried finding sources in French, but got nothing except for this link [2] which indicates that there (might have?) been a second battle of Yevenes. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 23:43, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- I saw that but it's actually referencing Battle of Ocana which was a nearby battle but not quite the same place.radek (talk) 03:09, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okay then. Did the French call the Battle of Ocana, the 2nd Battle of Yevenes? Or is it just one reference there which does that? If the two battles are connected, it could mentioned in the Aftermath section. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 12:36, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

- All required citations were placed as suggested. belissarius (talk) 02:40, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Feel free to change it to a B-class, but try and cite all direct quotations (e.g. "but he calmed all his officers, assuring them that the enemy was several days march from here, near the Guadiana river" and "Forward, kids!"). Also, citations should be provided for the 2nd last paragraph of the Battle section. However, to become a GA, it will need better citations. Footnotes 1, 11,18, 19 and 20 need to be sourced, and a page number should be provided for Footnote 16. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 12:36, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Battle of Ocana was completely different battle, as the town of Ocaña is located about 50 km north-east of Los Yébenes (close to Aranjuez). Battles can not be connected anyhow, although Polish lancers took part in both of them. belissarius (talk) 17:35, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- The Royal Carabineers Regiment (Carabineros Reales) had got Household status. It was part of the Royal Guard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.142.175.22 (talk) 11:07, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Esdaile reference
[edit]How added the Esdaile book "the Peninsular War" reference could please told me were they are. I can't find them and certainly they aren't on the 349 page. Gywon (talk) 02:54, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
I just checked the Polski wiki where this article came from and the same info is there but with totally different refs. Maybe someone how can translate it can correct the mistakes. Gywon (talk) 03:11, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
