• Crook had all property loaded into wagons. What does this mean? His supplies or civilian property from Lewisburg?
  • Changed to "In case he had to move quickly, Crook had all supplies loaded into wagons." Source says "To be fully prepared for any emergency, Col. Crook had every pound of property of every kind loaded in the wagons...." That appears to be the supplies of the brigade. There is no indication of any looting of property from the hostile community. Crook wanted to be able to flee to a more defendable camp at Meadow Bluff, if necessary. TwoScars (talk) 16:14, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
