Yes, I think so. I've only heard of the battle of Homildon Hill. I've never heard of a Humbleton Hill. The article even admits that the latter is an anachronism. Lachrie (talk) 12:05, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article uses text from My Wound is Deep to which Wikipedia is not legally entitled, lacking proper licensing by the publisher. The bulk of text was added between these edits. Some examples of copyright problems include [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12]. I am heartily sorry to say that it seems the article will need to be rewritten to remove any remaining text by this contributor, since he has verified that the publisher did not license its use. I am blanking the article accordingly and listing it at the copyright problems board. I hope that the contributors to this article will be able to help salvage it. The entire sections of copyrighted text have been removed from the article. The article has been left substantially in the state it was before the that text was added. 10:04, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Humbleton HillBattle of Homildon Hill – See previous comment, I believe this is the common name of the battle. This is the name used in the article on the Earl of Douglas, the Scots commander, and his entry at the peerage website, see the external link. As a general rule we use the contemporary rather than the current name for battle locations, e.g. Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Tsaritsyn, Siege of Constantinople and various related articles, Siege of Mafeking (not Mafikeng) and Battle of Cynwit.
