Date in table doesn't match date in text.

Question on the date

Is the date on this battle based on the lunar calender? because all the other articles involving the Imjin war is based on the Korean / Chinese calender of the time, yet this one seem to not be. I'm seen more than a few reference that this battle was fought in july, and from what I recall of the battle in the Annals of Seonjo it also was fought earlier than late August.

I will need to recheck some of the sources to confirm, but this is something that I notice.

宣傳官金軾, 哨探閑山事情, 還來入啓曰: “十五日二更, 倭船五六隻, 不意夜驚衝火, 我國戰船四隻, 全數燒沒, 我國諸將蒼皇動船, 艱難結陣, 鷄鳴, 倭船不知其數, 來圍三四匝, 荊島等處, 布滿無際。 且戰且退, 勢不相敵, 我舟師退屯于固城地秋原浦, 賊勢滔天, 我國戰船, 全被燒沒, 諸將軍卒, 焚溺盡死。 臣與統制使元均及順天府使禹致績, 脫身下陸, 元均老不能行, 赤身杖劍, 兀坐松下。 臣走且顧見, 倭奴六七, 揮劍已到元均處, 元均生死, 不得詳知。 慶尙右水使裵楔、玉浦、安骨萬戶等, 艱難獲全, 焚蕩諸船, 火炎漲天, 倭船無數向閑山島矣。”

선전관 김식(金軾)이 한산(閑山)의 사정을 탐지하고 돌아와서 입계하였다.

“15일 밤 2경에 왜선 5∼6척이 불의에 내습하여 불을 질러 우리 나라 전선 4척이 전소 침몰되자 우리 나라 제장들이 창졸간에 병선을 동원하여 어렵게 진을 쳤는데 닭이 울 무렵에는 헤일 수 없이 수많은 왜선이 몰려 와서 서너 겹으로 에워싸고 형도(刑島) 등 여러 섬에도 끝없이 가득 깔렸습니다. 우리의 주사(舟師)는 한편으로 싸우면서 한편으로 후퇴하였으나 도저히 대적할 수 없어 할 수 없이 고성 지역 추원포(秋原浦)로 후퇴하여 주둔하였는데, 적세가 하늘을 찌를 듯하여 마침내 우리 나라 전선은 모두 불에 타서 침몰되었고 제장과 군졸들도 불에 타거나 물에 빠져 모두 죽었습니다. 신은 통제사 원균(元均) 및 순천 부사 우치적(禹致績)과 간신히 탈출하여 상륙했는데, 원균은 늙어서 행보하지 못하여 맨몸으로 칼을 잡고 소나무 밑에 앉아 있었습니다. 신이 달아나면서 일면 돌아보니 왜노 6∼7명이 이미 칼을 휘두르며 원균에게 달려들었는데 그 뒤로 원균의 생사를 자세히 알 수 없었습니다. 경상 우수사 배설(裴楔)과 옥포(玉浦)·안골(安骨)의 만호(萬戶) 등은 간신히 목숨만 보전하였고, 많은 배들은 불에 타서 불꽃이 하늘을 덮었으며, 무수한 왜선들이 한산도로 향하였습니다.”

Alright, I changed the date back to accordance with the Annals of Seonjo, and threw in a little bit here and there, almost all based on the various entries on the Annals on that day
