I think the Foulis Infantry regiment under Colonel Robert Munro, 18th Baron of Foulis would have been Scottish and not German.QuintusPetillius (talk) 17:29, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, it was German. Don't confuse Monro of Foulis with Monro of Obsdale (the writer).

What joker posted this crap? - Wilhelm Leib

[edit]

I note in the Saxon section a certain "Wilhelm Leib". Now Leib is normally the German suffix for a 'Life company" as in colonel's company. There was never such a person as "Wilhelm Leib"

This list is so riddled with errors it's a travesty.

I changed the ob of Colloredo (instead of Colloreda) rgt, with the name of the Oberst, count Giovan Battista Colloredo (1609-1649)instead of Rudolf (1589- 1657), who was at time Wachtmeister and later Feldmarschall. A little more of exactitude can be better... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.117.189.29 (talk) 14:01, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
