Misleading edits

One paragraph in the section "Course", with reference to Schmidthuber, originally read as follows:

In the fighting in Bazeilles, armed citizens had participated, by hiding in the basement and firing on the advancing troops and returning wounded. Rancorous by that fact the Bavarian killed many of them and set fire to the houses from which the shots were fired. At noon, the whole place was on fire.

Subsequent edits, first by KiwiBlossoms (claiming to just fix punctuation errors) and Everyoneneedsalittlegettaway, have turned the content of the paragraph on its head.

During the fighting at Bazeilles, the Bavarians killed many civilians and set fire to numerous houses. In response, angered citizens fought back by hiding in basements and firing at the advancing troops.

These edits have been made without providing any sources, and the old source was left in place. For this reason, I reverted the paragraph to the old version. -- 2003:56:C93E:EE01:224:E8FF:FED9:5D61 (talk) 15:40, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
