It seems clear that this article should indeed be merged with giant isopod. Or not so much merged as simply redirected. This page is basically two cool photos, a chart of these funky critters' place on the Tree of Life, and a one-sentence definition. It's a small subset of the giant isopod article. And "Bathynomus giganteus" is just the binomial name of the giant isopod.

Why do we even have to discuss it? Let's just redirect. Boom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.152.247.117 (talkcontribs) 02:10, 17 May 2007

Wikipedia:WikiProject Arthropods suggests that several species should be combined into a single article when there isn't enough text otherwise to make more than short stubs, like this one. It can always be split out later. Jll 10:32, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Only the taxonomic authorities of the 3 spp that have pages already should be preserved, and perhaps the one link. Maybe even just as an annotation for a future split. But species pages should wait until we have a good reference for Bathynomus diversity, i.e. how the species differ. Dysmorodrepanis 01:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
