blatant advertising.

[edit]

blatant advertising of an artist and her work in my opinion there are so many pages appearing that are just advertisements for peoples work.

anyone agree? Rapidlaser (talk) 11:10, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. Grossman's work is an important contribution to the art of sculpture, in terms of subject matter, means of design, and means of creation. She marries 3D geometry with biological themes in CAD, and Grossman was an early adopter of 3D printing in steel to implement the concepts. Also, unlike most sculptures, her metal pieces are not designed to sit in glass cases, but are robust enough to be handled or carried in a pocket -- high quality, thoughtful art that becomes adopted into everyday life. 50.109.254.246 (talk) 23:56, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have bought several of her small metal pieces, and you're not wrong, but their excellence is not really relevant here; whether she is independently noted is. —Tamfang (talk) 02:21, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

depends who you know in the editorial department, apparently!Ernstblumberg (talk) 11:32, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
