I see that the notability of this article has been questioned - just to let you know, I started it because I'm trying to fill in the missing details of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_London%27s_gentlemen%27s_clubs , since I have access to a lot of material that would help sketch this out, to contribute to our understanding of the vital role played by clubs in late nineteenth/early twentieth century London social history. I'll need to refer to several books to properly reference some stories to flesh this out a bit more.

If you want to see an examle of comparable articles that have been predominantly written by me, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitutional_Club or, to get an idea of something at a more advanced stage, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Liberal_Club

Anyway, with most of the list's still-existing clubs now having had articles done (though there is sometimes a problem with these articles being mangled by people from the club themselves, who've tried turning some of them into adverts!), I've now started turning my attention to London's many defunct clubs, like the Bath Club.
