Charles Barkley Elbow incident
[edit]In the section "The 1992 Dream Team's Olympic Summary" would it be appropriate to include a discussion/mention of the intentional elbowing that Charles Barkley gave to an Angloan player. It caused quite a stir and is still mentioned today as the moment that the spirit of amateurism died in the Olympics. Here's the article at the time from the NY times and here's a contemporary reference from the sydney morning herald. I've also written this same question at the article United States men's national basketball team. I had personally never heard of this event before, but I've seen it mentioned a couple of times just today so I thought I'd raise it here. Witty Lama 07:13, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Multiple Medals
[edit]I corrected the section where it claimed that Jordan, Mullin and Ewing became the first people to win multiple olympic gold medals in basketball. AAU player and Hall of Famer Bob Kurland won gold for team USA in 1948 and 1952. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wfredmason (talk • contribs) 20:17, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
