Article title
[edit]- Subject's name
The name of the subject of this article is Baselios Marthoma Mathews III. Let us stick to using this full name as the title of the article rather than partial names that could cause disambiguation issues. Swordofcherubim (talk) 16:39, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
- About adding anything in parentheses with the heading
There is really no reason to add anything in parentheses with the heading of the article (eg. name of the Church) that are obvious within the text of the article.Swordofcherubim (talk) 16:39, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
Overcite
[edit]Per the comments from @Swordofcherubim: First off, there is a generally assumed tendency not to overly cite material with redundant sources; this is doubly true when there are both independent reliable sources and dependent, possibly self-published sources. The former is generally accepted best practices, the latter is policy. Secondly, it is not "idiotic" to presume that a MOSC leader might eventually consecrate new metropolitans; if that happens, that's a good time to insert a separate section. As of right now, having a floating section covering a single event means that a major achievement of Marthoma Mathews III's ministry is divorced from the rest of his life's work. Thirdly, in this reversion you broke a source. In the midst of using uncivil language, you unsourced his titles. I will rectify this alone now and wait for a response on the other content. ~ Pbritti (talk) 00:46, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
