Proposed Merger
[edit]I would like to substitute the text of the page User:Pgrig/base end station for this stub. This stub contains a few errors. I have written the proposed replacement carefully, and have included the image contained on this page in my re-written page. I do not think this replacement would be controversial, except possibly to the folks at the CA State Park who apparently have a base end station on their property and wrote the stub, with two references to themselves.
I would also like the new page to make mention of an alternative title for base end station, i.e., fire control tower, which is what the structures that often held one or more base end stations were sometimes called (see my proposed new page for examples).
I tried to use the move from and move to templates on these pages, but they wouldn't seem to recognize the page references I put in. Sorry--this is the first time I have done this. Pgrig (talk) 18:53, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
