[edit]Barry Drive was not constructed as a single carriage road. It was constructed in the early 1970s as a dual carriage way. For a while it had a kink to pass around a wooden building being used as the CSIRO herbarium, whose manager, Nancy Tyson Burbidge, was opposed to the road. Initially traffic from Belconnen Way to Civic used Dryandra Street, which was a pain to all concerned.--Grahame (talk) 01:17, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation style
[edit]Note: There is a proposal at WT:AURD#Move_articles_to_bracket_disambiguation to rename this article (and others) to conform to the WP:AURDNAME guideline – specifically, using brackets instead of a comma for disambiguation. - Evad37 [talk] 08:31, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
