Name

Must disagree that the Name section is over-detailed (and have deleted the tag). The dissociation from Earls Court and the Margrave/Margravine connection is of interest to the large numbers who see the name every day, and wonder whether there was a local baron. Since there is no official district called Barons Court (and therefore no dedicated page for this area, until someone starts one), the present page seems the natural place for this useful information. @Valetude: Well I agree to what you have said, but it is truely over-detailed as Wikipedia is not meant to have sections that are sort of like trivia. Eventhough there are exceptions (like this one) but it should be shortened.

Maybe there ought to be a new page for Barons Court itself as a notional district of London, and this could incorporate the current material that the locals would find interesting. Then we could use a shortened version for the page on Barons Court Station, also suitable for a new section on the page on West Kensington. Valetude (talk) 20:07, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Valetude: I Agree with you. Given that so much time has elapsed, I am transferring the "Palisser section" trimmed, into the West Kensington article where it belongs. Do we really need a Barons Court page?--Po Mieczu (talk) 21:56, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
