Not even true

[edit]

Unbelievably, even this tiny stub seems wholly unreliable. Barley bread is not particularly English. in fact it is much more common in Scotland, where the ancient bere meal is still used. Moreover, barley bread was a staple in Ancient Egypt and is still widely eaten in highland Africa. The flour is not in the least difficult to obtain. I bought some cheaply in the English Midlands only recently and am waiting to take a batch of bread out of the oven as I write. The flour is widely sold in health food stores, some Asian shops, and some supermarkets. Sjwells53 (talk) 16:49, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that barley bread was the main kind of bread eaten in many places for much of history, and that it's difficult to find in America, at least, the it seems to me that there ought to be a lot more to written about it.

Prophet Ezekiel was asked by God to take barley, wheat, beans, lentils,Millet and spelt put them in a storage jar to make bread and he would eat it like barley cake. Ezekiel was to bake it in the sight of the people using human excrement for fuel. After complaining to Sovereign Lord of not ever defiling himself.God pardoned him and told him to bake the bread using cow manure instead of human excrement. 102.167.47.90 (talk) 01:17, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
